Hi folks, I have just inherited a TE 2400 and I'm having a little trouble programming the PLU descriptors.
I'm following the manual, I'm in PGM mode, press 2 then Sub Total, I enter the new description (let's say it's COW) now the trouble begins. The next instruction shows a button with menu written on top and shift written under it. There is no button on my keyboard like that. So I tried pressing the Menu key then the Shift key. That doesn't work, nor does pressing them both together. What am I missing here? Please help while I still have some hair left in my head.

Hi enter description then press 00 button then press a button till where you want it to go. Subtotal to save

Thank you very much, worked like a charm. Why on earth don't the instructions say that, there's no mention of press 00. You can only shake your head and wonder.

The directions u were following were for plu's the buttons on layout are departmens
