I've just purchased this older model for a non-profit organisation and there is no manual so literaly can't get past a basic transaction. ANY help or information would be hugely appreciated as I need to change the name, date, time for the receipt, set up PLUs, reasign/name departments, etc, etc.

I can help with these.
Do you use both PLUs and departments? If you press an item and the price comes up automatically, then you are working with PLUs. If you type a price, then press an item button, then you are using departments.

Hi Mark ... firstly, thank you soooo much for replying, I am truly grateful. I can use departments (enter a total then hit a department) and I can get a PLU print out (PLU then any dept key) but the key has to be turned to X to obtain this. If it's set on Reg it comes up with 'E' which i assume is an error.
