Casio 117ER cash register problem

some of the number keys have stopped working. 9,8,7,6 & 00 work fine but 0,1,2,3,4,5 dont work at all. is this a problem that can be fixed. this is on a casio 117ER cash till

could be the cable that has come loose from the main board. Make sure all of the cables are pushed firmly into the sockets on the main board.

Making sure that the till is uplugged first, of course.

dont want to sound an idiot but how do you get to the main board. can get into where the till reel is but how does the top come off the till

got in now. all plugs seem to be connected apart from 2 red and one white that all run from the board to a connector. all 3 wires are in the same one but its not connected to anything and cant see any plugs for it
