I have a casio ce-4200 and i am having a problem. I was getting an error E03, and I read a post on the forum to reset. I turned key to off, held down receipt feed, turned key to program, the FFFFFFF came up, then I hit subtotal. It printed the confirmation fine. all is good. but....now the register is stuck at 0 and will not accept commands. I have tried a power cycle, unplugging the unit, as well as repeating this reset process. any help would be very much appreciated.

Seems the battery in your till needs replacing and that is why there is only one zero as it has lost all its programming.

You will need to replace the battery anyway. You should still be able to setup the till, but if you turn it off you will lose all information again.

Try this:

Turn till Off
Turn key to PGM
Hold down Journal Feed while switching on
Enter 11501 and press Subtotal
