Hi, I'd also like to get a copy of this if it's the right thing for a TE2200.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have a Casio TE-2200 and I'd love to get a copy of the CV22 software and manual if it's the right one for the TE2200. I've now read the dealers manual for the TE2200 (that I bought from Epos) cover-to-cover about 10 times and have managed to set up everything successfully except: 1. The barcode scanner does not work 2. I can't get a graphic logo I'll work on the graphic logo later, but I really need the barcode scanner to work. The barcode scanner is a Cipherlab model 1000, RS232. I bought the Casio TE2200 new from Office Depot, and they gave me the scanner for free. The scanner seems to be working perfectly by itself. I can program it easily, and test it with Hyperterminal no problem. I've selected the EAN13 barcode because it is supported in the Casio manual. I've setup the 13 digit PLU correctly in the Casio, as I can type the number in manually and the Casio displays the correct information, price, etc. I just cannot get the barcode scanner to work together with the Casio. The barcode scanner is plugged into COM2 on the Casio, and the Casio 0298 address is set to 0000000000002020 as indicated in page 96 of the dealers manual. I have the baud rate on the scanner set at 9600, with 8 bits, odd parity. I've made absolutely certain that I've activated the batch maint PLU file. There are still a few things that I'm not certain of however. The barcodes are obviously working as proven in Hyperterminal. I'm not sure what information I should be sending to the Casio, however. i.e. the barcode number is 9789745002500 but I am able to program the scanner to send different data such as: 9789745002500 139789745002500 E139789745002500 E139789745002500 Which one is correct? Also, I have a question about the flow control. Page 192 of the dealers manual indicates CTS/RTS hardware flow control and disable software control. The scanner only offers four options for flow control: None Scanner Ready Data Ready Inverted Data Ready Which one is correct? By the way, I made a 4x4 matrix of flow control and the four types of data options above...I tried all 16 combinations but nothing worked. I've made sure to turn off the Casio, plug in the scanner, clear the flags, they turn to Reg 1 every time, but still nothing. I'm running out of ideas here. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way I could confirm if the com2 port on the Casio is working correctly? How can I confirm what info the scanner should be sending, or the flow control details? Thanks very much in advance. jeff.beach@newyorkcasual.com

Hi.
There are several settings depending upon scanner type.
Try 2000 instead of 2020 in the IO setting. Don't forget to flag clear after you change it.

Device Settings
TE-2200 / 2400

Com 2 settings for the Scanner:
Turn key to PGM mode then press 3 , 0298
12000 <CA>
NEED TO FLAG CLEAR THE REGISTER FOR CHANGES TO TAKE EFFECT.
If this does not work then tell us what IPL number you are running.
