Hi,

I have a QT 6000 and the CV31 software but cannot get the two to communicate (I did about a year ago but cant remember what to do!)

I have reset the till (hold the red button on power-on and then typed in 10000) I have set:

Terminal ID to 1
IP Address to Manual
left IP Address at 192.168.0.1
DHCP is set to Server

In the CV31 software I have setup the till and IPL version. What do I need to put under MAC? Does the Terminal ID need to match that of the till or do I set it to 2 so that it appears as the 2nd till?

Does anyone have a manual for CV31 as I didn't get one with it.

Hi Tom

Just one or two things first which way are you going to communicate with this machine i.e. LAN or direct cable?

Easy way would be to link the 2 together using the LAN so if you have a switcher plug both in and set a static ip on your pc to 192.168.0.2 and on your software use the TCP/IP function when setting up your qt6000 on the cv31 software also put the same mac code as the till in software. i have a manual for this so if you can give me your e mail i can forward it to u
