I have somehow managed to delete the enter mode button which allows you to create buttons, do x/z readings and change just about every setting on the till!! I've looked at the manual to try and undo this but its far to complicated for me. So ow im stuck on what to do to get this button back!

Have you done a back up to a CF Card recently? If so you could do a restore.
If you have the CV31 program you could add it that way.
Try toggling thru the menu keys and see if it appears on any screen. Just keep hitting Menu key.
