I have a Remote Kitchen Printer, What adapters do I need on both ends,

What are the PINOUTS for the adapter, I have set the PORT up ready to print. COM - RJ45 - CAT5

Any help on this issue would be much appriciated.

What type of printer do you have? Serial?

If you can give us the printer model and the connection type on the back of it I may be able to help. I've just run a long length of Cat-5 ethernet cable that I have used to wire my kitchen printer. Printer has a 25 pin serial connector and I wired this to one of the QT6000's 9 pin serial. Works fine with a 20 meter cable run.

My cables use a null modem, cross over configuration. It's pretty standard. I have some PDF manuals for various Sam4s and Epson.

which model printer is it, i normally run a cat 5 cable with an rs232 convertor either end, if you need the spec for these, let me know
