I'm about to buy a Casio SE2000, or maybe 300
Could anyone please confirm that date, once initialised, never has to be reset- ie it automatically rools over from day to day? Current till has to have date added every day....very annoying.

Yes, they do. The Samsung ER-150 was the only machine I've ever struck that didn't. Which make/ model do you have now?
