I have a Casio TE-2400. I have initialized it and it is displaying the 10 L's. When I enter my code of 22400 I get a message of "ERROR IN E0004". It acts like I have no key assignments. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hansel is correct the line of L's on the display mean you have low batteries, you will need to replace them.

You say you enter code 22400 I assume you mean this is the init code?
the error 4 is because you are in the middle of initializing the machine, where are you located?

The init code for the TE2400
Turn Power off, hold down journal key, turn power on, release journal key.
You should see a row of 0's
enter
UK
10400 if you are using the clerk keys on the keyboard and scanning
20400 if you are in the US or Canada

After entering the code press subtotal wait for 2 beeps press subtotal again.
You will then need to reprogram the machine as all data will have been lost.
