Hello all, I was hoping to find somebody with some Unitech product experience. I'm looking to connect the MS180-1RG scanner to the TE-900 ECR. I've been workin on this problem for about a month now, and was able to get some of the information that I need.
The best information I've found so far was on this forum
hereSo far I'm near positive I have the casio set up properly. In
P03 I used
0198 [sub] then
12000 [ca] [sub]. I understand this sets the baud rate to 9600.
However, the settings on the Unitech are labeled a bit differently than the metrologic or other scanners. I'll list them and bold the options I have currently selected
Baud Rate: 300 600 1200 2400 4800
9600 19200 38400
Party: Even /
Odd / Mark / Space / None
Data bit: 7 /
8Handshaking: Ignore /
RTS Enable at Power up / RTS Enabled in Communication
ACK/NAK:
Off / On
BCC Character:
Off / On
Time Out:
1sec / 3sec / 10sec / Unlimited
One thing to note here is that I see no setting labeled (or including) "Stop Bit"
In the thread linked above,
no2morrow mentioned he also changed some of the barcode settings. He mentioned:
Quote:
Expand UPC-E to 12 digits
Convert UPC-A to EAN-13
I have lots of fun settings that I know nothing about here, but nothing similar to what
no2morrow posted. Regarding the three types mentioned, I have the following settings:
