ON MY CASIO TE2400 WHEN I ENTER 95 ON NEWS DEPT BUTTON THEN
95 AMOUNT TENDERD I GET THE ERROR MESSAGE E026 APPEAR
NO CONDIMENT/ PREPARATION PLU IS REGISTERED.
THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON THIS DEPARTMENT

Hi.
Are you sure you are using departments? This machine comes standard with PLUs on the keyboard. It sounds like someone has programmed it for condiments. Have you been trying to change the program? If you are not sure what you did, we can read the settings and find out.

hi WHAT HAPPENED WAS 1 WAS INPUTING NEW PRODUCTS. FINISHED AND PRESSED SUB TOTAL.THE RECEIPT SAID DIRECT MAIN END.BUT I FORGOT TO TURN THE KEY FROM PROGRAM TO REC.THEN A CUSTOMER COME IN TO BUY A NEWSPAPER.I ENTERED 95 AND PRESSED BUTTON69 ON THE KEYBROAD WHICH IS PROGRAMED AS DEPT 10 NEWSPAPERS.THIS IS WHEN THE PLOBLEM BEGAN AND NOW IT COMES UP E026. THE REST OF THE DEPARTMENTS WORK FINE.

Ok. I think we should read your departments then. We can check the status of your other depts, and set your wrong one to the others.

First, we'll make sure you have it at the correct memory location.
Turn key to Program mode.
Press 2 SUBTOTAL, then SUBTOTAL again.

It should print a list. Look down the list and tell me the numbers next to Newspaper.
