Can anyone explain the wiring from a till drawer on a Casio TK-2300?

There would appear to be a 2/3 wire connector, along with a separate green 'frame drawer connector' wire. I am looking to be able to connect & control it from a PC (RS232) and any help would be gratefully appreciated. My research so far seems to cover RJ45 connections or via the EPOS printer but I have so far been unable to find anything further on this older, more simple looking connection.

Thank you for your time.

SIMPLE
THERE ARE THREE WIRES
USE A MULTIMETER TO FIND 2 OF THE THREE THAT HAVE ROUGHLY 20-25OHMS RESISTANCE ACROSS THEM, IGNORE THE THIRD - IT'S JUST A CLOSED DRAWER SENSOR

presumably the problem will be supplying enough power to fire the solenoid. cant for the life of me remember what the casio drawers are, but usually drawers are 12 or 24v. The only times ive seen powered serial ports they were 5v. Can you get the power to drive the drawer?

I WOULD USE AN EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY THEN USE THE OUTPUT FROM THE PC TO FIRE AN ELECTRONIC SWITCH
INSTEAD OF USING A BIPOLAR TRANSISTOR, USE A FET THEY RUN ON ULTRA LOW BASE CURRENT SO AS NOT TO OVERLOAD TRHE PC PORT

Thanks very much for the answers so far guys but the situation has now changed slightly, insofar as I have now acquired a dedicated EPOS PC that has the following RJ11 connector pinouts:

1. FG
2. L1-
3. SW+
4. DC +12V @(L1+/L2+)
5. L2-
6. SW-

I take it, even with my limited hardware knowledge (I'm more of a software man), that this should solve the supply of enough power problem, but am still unsure as to what to connect the leads from my Casio drawer to, if indeed it is at all possible. Can anyone help?

I also now have to find out how to send 'EOh' to port 408h, which is apparently how to open a proper cash drawer but would like to know that physical connection is possible first.

Thanks very much again for your time & help with this.
