Hi
New to this model [though a veteran in the trade] customer purchased till cheaply online now cannot use it as it came with " free programming" but no further help
Had a quick look through the manual, can't see anything on the subject. are these features available on the 213?
the manual is not very thorough either - for instance how do you allocate hard clerks to the keyboard?

What you see is what you get with these machines. There's no overlapped clerk or pop up clerk or free key assignment. That's why they're cheap!
There is a programming utility for it complete with Windows 7 usb drivers but is possibly more hassle than it's worth.

If this helps, I remember setting up a sharp similar to this one and using glu's (tables) as the clerks. It wasn't the best, but did allow one transaction to be held while another one was processed.
