Communication Error, is the ECR in use - ER-A420

I'm using ER-A420 but I can't connect my PC to it. Every time I try, I get "Retry Over, Check communication settings and Is the ECR is use? I have setup the register to Serial Ch-1 and it's in Reg mode and I also press no sale to make sure its not in use. But I keep getting communication error. Any help would be greatly appricated, thank you

Could anybody please help me this problem, its been driving me crazy with comm problem. Any idea or suggestion will be greatly appricated

So you have set 2690 to 1000 or 2000?
