I have a uniwell 895 which I need to access by modem. I have 2 USRobotics modems that were previously connected to a computer and a uniwell till but I am minus the cables to connect the till and the computer. Does any one know how they should be configured ie which terminals should I use. The fitting in the modem is 25 pin female and an rs232c to the till. Many thanks

The cable for your PC to the modem can be a standard PC to Modem cable and the Uniwell end will need to be a custom cable as they are not wired standard. You will also need the modem at the PoS end to be configured to answer the call which can be done via the terminal once cabled.

What software will you be using to manage the terminal over the modem ?

Thanks for that, the software is Total Control. Do you know how the pins should be configured for the uniwell end? We have found the original cables but the wires have become detached and its impossible to tell where they should go or do you know if anybody can supply the cable ready made. My current supplier is not proving very helpful. Many thanks
