Hi Dave,

The instructions worked great thank you very much. Too bad the manual couldn't be more precise. I am in Thailand, a little ways from there for a cable. Surprising they don't use a standard rs232 cable and someone else on here apparently didn't know either.

Thanks again,

Gibs

Each manufacturer likes to have different cables for communications to their own tills and some have different ones depending on the software being used.

You could create your own cable if you wanted to, plenty of shops sell the parts and I have the cable spec if needed.

Dave

To resurrect an old thread, I have the exact same problem and I am bound to get my graphic logo on the cash receipt.

I have found no evidence (google) that the casio TE-100 cabel specs differs from the standard rs232 specs. Any clues on this?

Thanks,
Fredrik

RS232 cable works, but not with COM USB converter, you need an OG com port.

There is no such thing as a standard RS232 cable. Different devices can use all sorts of crossovers depending upon how they buffer, send requests, type of hardware etc. Many use the null modem type crossovers, but that is not a standard that is adhered to by all.
