I am in PGM 2, Settings, Direct Key........I am not able to do anything with this, all the listings have an "x" before them, not allowing me to make any changes. It's like they are locked. How can I change this?
I have gone into the svc mode and made sure the supervisor is on. This did not help either.

Forgive me if i am stating something you already are aware of but Direct Key Programming in PGM 2 is for assiging PLU numbers and Department numbers to keys, it is not for assigning functions.

In Service, Setting, Free Key Layout you need to inhibit the keys you want to set as Plu,s or Dept,s.Then in Pgm 2 Assign Your Plu Number to the key.

I think thats how it is done.
