I am having some problems with storing tables on a DX890, cannot find store/new balance button, how do I show it on the main screen?
Also cannot open up a table plan, have tried setting system flags but do I need to download something from a PC or can it all be done on the touchscreen.

Hi Rich,

OK to add the NEW BALLANCE button to your main screen you need to do the following.

Turn key to SP
Log on with a code that gets you into programming
Press Program Functions
Type 850
Press ENTER
Press Enter on FUNCTION KEYS (should be at the top)
Line down on the left and highlight NEW BALANCE
Press the button wher you want this button to live (be careful not to over write anything else)
Press CLEAR (top left)
Press CLEAR AGAIN
Press CLERK ID to log you off.

Now check in R that the button is there.

The table plan does not need anything to do with a PC but you do need to have the exact correct settings.
How many tills do you have and if you have more than 1 which till would be the table plan master?
