EPOS on a sx-580 cash register

Hell to you all can anybody help I have two towa sx-580 in my shop, I am setting the up for epos. Please can anybody tell me if there is a rs 232 socket or any socket that link to the printer on this cash register, I can see the two ports RJ45 coma comb can I use these ports. Thank you in advance for your help ....Keith

Ports can be used for a barcode scanner and computer. I haven't heard of anyone developing an external printer link

Hi there thank you for your reply, I have looked into this a bit further, can I connect off the 20 core ribbon cable leading from the pcb to the printer with a ribbon tap and take that to rs232 socket outlet that I can mount in the side of the till..thanks Keith

You could certainly try but I don't think that what might print through the serial port will be an exact copy of what prints on receipt
