Can anyone please suggest me the features to look in for EPOS software which can handle the restaurants,takeaways etc

etc ? I assume you only have one of?

For restaurants you want to look for things like: Table management, Set menus, bill printing, kitchen printing, reservations, support for handheld waiter pos, cashier management.

Take aways would tend to be a little simpler, but Kitchen Printing and Caller ID support can be nice things to look for.

And good easy to use plu reporting for your stock taker

I work for an EPOS supplier and these days we only supply ICRTouch - it's very reliable (which is the main reason we supply it), very easy to use and does pretty much everything we want it to. and their support staff are really good and helpful
