Hi, I am trying to program my till to include VAT on all sales. I have programmed tax shift 1 to 20% but am not sure how to apply it to all plu's.
Could it be through program 100 (plu status programming) where i could enter the first plu# and the last plu# to receive the same setting? If it is, would I enter 000000000000001 PLU 999999999999999 PLU?

depends on what you are selling!
if you have a scanner connected, the plu numbers are not consecutive so it would have to be done individually

otherwise check your memory allocation as to how many plus you have available - standard is 300 i think - so plu1 to plu 300

the other way is to pull your product file using samstock, export the file into excell, swap all the tax column zeros to 1's reimport into samstock and send the products back in to the till

sounds long winded but it works and is quicker than doing them manually
