I have inherited a samsung er5100. I have managed to program the plu keys but would like to group these into headings. How can I do this? The manual says

Key to P
150 sub total
press plu
01 (for group 1) then x time
when i press xtime I just get the infamous steady beep.

Also is it possible to clear the grand total to date?

Does the till already have items programmed in?

If so you may want to start from scratch;

Turn the "C" key round to the Service Position (6 O'clock)
unplug the till, hold down the 00 key and plug back in. Keep holding key down until 0.00 is shown on the display.

This procedure resets the to the Factory Defaults and also clears all sales totals to zero.
