I can't seem to find "departments" on this ECR ...... is this the same as groups?

I need to be able to enter a dollar amount and then assign it to a departments.

eg.

$40

then press "Accommodation" button so it is assigned to the "Accommodation" department.

How do I do this?

Hi Kevin..

firstly dept is the same as groups..

2nd you cant apply a price to a group. you would have to create a plu for what you want and create a group of the same name and just assign the plu to belong to that group..

That's not really the answer I wanted to hear! LOL

So in that case ... is it possible to have an "Accommodation" Button, which when pressed .. then prompts for the Dollar Amount - which is then assigned to the "Accommodation Group"?

How would this be done?

P.S. After 25 years in the IT industry ... I can't believe I am having so much trouble with and ECR! LOL

do you mean an open priced button??

if so then just create a plu with price overide in the software assign that to the relevant group.

then each time you use it, it will go on your financial reports
