Hi, I can't work out how to enable the £5 / £10/ £20 shortcuts on my ER420M.

The till says **Sequence Error** if they are pressed. I have tried the macro programming the buttons but it doesn't want to set them as macro buttons.

Does anyone know how to enable them?

Thanks

edit - by the way they are marked that way on my till - but given what the manual says they should be the "Paid Out", "Curr Conv" and "Recd Acct" buttons. Can I get them to be shortcuts for the values £5/£10/20?

first put your macro buttons on the keyboard
turn the key to s mode and enter 70 into subtotal
101 into £5
102 into £10
103 into £20
finalise by pressing cash

Next, you need to program the macro function. This machine is a bit different in as much as it has to be shown what control lock position the macto is active in so:

1. turn the key to program. 1500 subtotal push £20,
2. Turn key to register
3. Press subtotal, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0
4. Press cash
5. Turn key to program
6. Push £20.
7. Push £10,
8. Turn key to register
9. Press subtotal, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0
10. Press cash
11. Turn key to program
12. Press £10
13. Press £5
14. Turn key to register
15. Press subtotal, 5, 0, 0
16. Press cash
17. Turn key back to program
18. Press £5
19. Press cash.

See how you get on

COULD IT BE THAT IT IS NOT PROGRAQMMED AS A NO SALE BUTTON?

TURN THE KEY TO S MODE, ENTER 70 INTO SUB TOTAL
ENTER 63 INTO NO SALE PRESS CASH TO FINISH.

OR IT COULD BE PROGRAMMED INACTIVE?

TURN THE KEY TO PGM ENTER 70 INTO SUBTOTAL
ENTER 0000 INTO NO SALE PRESS CASH TO FINISH

....... OR YOU COULD BE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SALE?
