i dont doubt what u say i can only relate my experience i did a ram clear 3 times actually yet the ports were still available ???? im not a tech so i have no explanation u can make of what i related i have been using this register for 5 years and the other one has been in operation for 6 years they both had the same faults which is interesting in itself
but i an tell 100% THE XTIME KEY was no working i dont know but it is now in a workable stage im of the opinion some of the ram may be faulty as after i set it up some plu keys became invalid one one register only could also have been a corruption in file transfer dunno but these problems happen in pcs i hope one day u till men get to experience what i did

one final thought - take me through the exact method you used to ram clr the till
