I attempted to add a function key (cash) on my 5200M and now I get ***Warning***Req Valid message when use training mode. I deactivated the second cash key and made sure the original cash key was set back to the default setting.

The only key that works without giving me an error is the Macro key I programmed for reports. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

you have inadvertantly set up compulsory validation flags on all your method of payment buttons - can't quite understand why you would want to add a cash button as there is one already there at the bottom right hand corner of the keyboard by default.
this button is required for programming purposes and as such must not be disabled

I set up the second cash key to use for entering specific denominations ($5.00, $10.00 etc). I deactivated the second cash key. The original is still functional. Any idea how I can remove the compulsory validation?

Was there a solution to the problem of an error message requesting validation in training? I seem to have the same problem. I have inadvertently programmed the cash key to require Validation, but there is no key currently assigned to validation so I cannot get out of the loop I am in to rectify the incorrect programming. Every key stroke created the error message "Req Valid". Please can anyone help? Thanks
