Hi all
we recently purchased a second hand geller/towa merlin MP2.We had to do a full system reset because the battery died and have noticed that this has only got 99 main flags that we can change(we have downloaded the program manual from this site and this also only gives details of 99 flags).
However another till of the same make has 160 flags. Does anyone know how to access these "missing" flags as we are trying to set it up in exactly the same way.

We have been able to set the till for normal operation however we would like to set up clerk interrupt were by staff can press cashier button A (next to the key) enter items then another member of staff can just press cashier button b and do there transaction without added to or losing the previous one. If anyone can help with this one please.

Answering my own question we have found infomation on flag 74 (not covered in the prosper et-7626 / 7626f manual we downloaded from epos wizard shop) .

main flag 74 is a LAYAWAY on cashier keys function
this allows multiple cashiers to use the register at the same time
(eg, in a bar cashier A enters carling and double whiskey then pours drinks while cashier B enters coke and crisps then pours drinks, cashier A returns (presses cashier key A) and completes their transaction.

to set up >>
turn key to P2
using overlay 2 press START SELECT (main flag)
press 74 DSGN
then enter the binary codes
10000110 to use layaway function
10000100 for normal operation
then press INPUT to finish and turn key to R

so we do not need to use clerk interupt
we still don't know why one till has 160 main flags and the other only has 100 may be down to different eproms/
