hi

i have two tx 850's that are frozen and say they need setup required. what do i do?
both have looked out all input and are not responding to the change in the key position
as well i was wondering how to set them up in a master/slave irc

Do you have a S key ?

yes i do but it wont respond when i put it in the SP position

There are a few ways to reset a TX850 but you need a MASTER KEY.

insert the s key and turn it to the y/p position (all the way clockwise)then turn off the unit. holsing your thumb in the top right corner of the screen turn the unit back on. you should hear three beeps. then turn the key to the s/p position (all the way counter closckwise). from there you should be able to program the system.
