i have a ml780 till which has a problem with the front screen. i need to turn the contrast up but no idea how.

any help would be appreciated

I think there should be a contrast button position on the keyboard. May be marked as something else - maybe try the last two rows. Try both R and P1 key positions

Left and right arrows while in REG mode will adjust the LCD. If you getting a smear, severe darkening of the display, or half of the display is dark, then it is probably dying. They only last a few years in this model. I've had several failures
