hi i hav a sx680 geller till and i changed the till roll and now the till has locked and says check rj port? help what shall i do to unlock it?

that's the second geller ive heard of this week with that fault.
to clear the one i attended to, i turned it to service and powered off then back on - no idea why but there you go!
