Hi there,
I've been sent a link for a manual for a machine by The Wizard but i'm afraid my m/c is quite different.

Basically i need to CLEAR the till of previous sales and start afresh. I have tried following the instructions but i looked at the layout of the key board and mine looks nothing like that.On page 84 (i think) of the manual it tells you how to clear the inventory by pressing Clear then 3 and then STRT....to begin with and then some more operations...my m/c does not have STRT nor does it have an SLCT.So i don't know what to try next.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Johnny the fox

Hi.
You are looking at the programming sheet. The keyboard becomes completely different when you turn the key to PROGRAM mode. You need to make yourself a programming keysheet. If you look through the manual, you should find a picture of the programming keysheet for both models (raised key version where your keyboard has separate buttons you push for each item, or flat key version where you push little plastic bubbles on top of a sheet of paper). If you have the flat keyboard, just make up a grid of squares that fits the keyboard squares, and write the STRT DSGN SLCT INPUT and alphabet on there as per the book. If you have the raised key version, I have a different method which I will need to describe.

I hope this makes sense. It's hard to describe. If you can't find it in the manual, or have any more trouble, please just ask.

Mark

P.S. Please don't clear anything at this stage, as you can cause yourself more work. It's better to just modify the existing programming to suit you. Let me know how you get on with the keysheet, and we can see how it has been programmed.
