Hello,
I have newly registered as I have recently installed a Casio TE8000 at my cafe'.
I use table tracking and have set the machine to run batch daily x and z reports with open tables. However I think I have made a big error on my EOD yesterday. I have an account customer who hasn't paid yet. Their table was not finalised by the end of the day. I ran the batch z as usual but then I ran a z on 'open tables' instead of an x on 'open tables' and it cleared the table. However I don't know whether it has affected the sales figures or not. They don't seem to add up properly.

Can anybody advise me on what I should do please, other than 'don't do it again'?
Thanks J

Hi.
If you did a Z on open tables, and it printed the current total of those tables, then that was the status of those tables at that time, so if you use the tables after that, just add the next report to that one, and it should total up. It will have cleared any items out of the tables, so you can't see those, but you should have a current balance for that table. A Z report will print the same things as an X except the report is reset to zero afterwards, so you haven't lost anything as it should have printed the current balance of that table.
Hope this makes sense.

Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes it makes sense. If I understand you correctly, it has added to the sales total when the table was inputted. The total of which was held on the open table report, but the table, and therefore the report, cleared when the z was run. That shouldn't affect the sales total, only the reports.

Thanks for your help

Regards J
