Hi all,
I have recently been given aan Omron RS2810 with no operating manual or programing manual. The person i got it off had a shop next door to mine which was closing down so they very kindly donated it to me but its currently got thier shop name and header on the till receipts and its programmed with thier department buttons which i could live with but i definately need my shop name and details on the top of the receipts. After searching Google for 3 days i could not find a free manual anywhere to help me delete thier details and program it with my own until i seen them for sale on this site so i bought both the programming manual and operating manual for just over £6.50.
Iv went through them both with a fine tooth comb and there is nowhere at all in either of them where it tells me how to set my own shop name and details at the top of the receipt! iv read through old topics and posts on this site and found a thread describing how to do it on a Omron 3010 which i beleived was a similar machine? but upon following the instructions, it does nothing on my RS2810
Can anyone please please please tell me how to do this as the till is much better than the one im using now and i really want to use it!

It should be in the programming manual. It is almost always in the P mode settings in the manual under logo lines.

its definately not in the manual, i bought the online PDF manuals off this site for over £6 the pair, they have everything you can think of needing to know, other than how to change the shop logo and details on the top of the receipts. me and my wife have been through it many times hoping we had missed something... Do you know how to change it?? could you talk me throught it please??

Sorry, I don't have any information for this model but I asked at C-tech and they said this one definitely has the logo programming:

It depends. Some models have several manuals to cover programming. It depends whether it is supposed to be in that particular manual.

There were 2 manuals for sale, programming manual and operation manual, i didnt want to take any chances so bought both manuals. surely it would be in one of them... everything else seems to be there but the part about changing the till receipt heading is definately not there... just my luck really!

It certainly seems to cover P mode programming. As I said earlier, it is almost always in P mode programming codes. Just look through them for the codes for logo.

each mode has detailed programing instructions but it doesnt say anything anywhere about how to change the Logo in this manual
