Hi,

The two tills worked really well for the first weekend. They've kept losses to a minimum, and the bar staff like them. I've had to order some replacement ribbons, but the original supplier does still stock them.

One thing I want to set up now is clerk interrupt mode. I've set flag 70 bit 4 to 1, leaving flag 131 at 0. If I press cashier A I can do a transaction, but if I press any other cashier button, it says "not programmed".

Also, a minor thing really, the first till generates several reports when I generate a Z1 report. How can I remove these? I just want the basic Z1.

Paul

Server interupt uses guest memory not cashiers. If you haven't set guests at maximum (you would need ten, one for each cashier) then trying to set them now could cause corruption as they share memory with plu's.
If you have guest maximums set then you should only need to give each guest a track number (1-10) and a name. With flag 70 set these will take over from cashier, but you must decide which system to use

It sounds as if the report table flag is enabled. Set flag 60 bit 7 to zero. When this is set the z1 report will follow report table 1 settings

Hi,

Ah - that flag 60 makes things clear. I've got the reporting exactly how I want it now.

Till is setup for 300 guests. Setting the track number for the other guests has helped - I can have multiple transactions now. Main problem at the minute is that the cash drawer opens every time I switch cashier.

Thats strange, from what I remember of the Mp2 the drawer should only open with no sale or tender, there is no link to interupts.
Does this happen with both registers? Does the cashier light flash after a sale?

It sounds as if there could be a conflict between flag settings.
Try flag 6 bit 1=0 and 17 bit 3 =0
What is setting for flag 19?

Hi,

Ah, flag 44 was indeed the problem. I'd set it when trying to solve the previous problem of the cash drawer not opening.

Ok, so I now have clerk interrupt basically working. I notice now that flag 6 bit 8 has no effect - even with it set, you need to press a cashier key before each transaction. Is there any way around this?

If using clerk interupts you do need to log on each time. This is because a sale can be stored on a clerk interupt. Log on as 'A' and ring in a couple of items but don't cash off. Log on as 'B' and sale for 'A' is stored. Operator B can carry out a sale. When 'A' again logs in the previous sale can be continued.
Flag 6 is applies to Cashier system only
