 Post subject: need help with uniwell px-5700 problem

I am having trouble printing my "Z" report. Everytime I try to print it, it makes constant beep. I can print the "X" report just fine without any problems. Its just the "Z" that is giving me problems. Please help me out.

Hi, :D

What exactly happens and at what stage of the process? Does any error message appear on the screen?

The only thing that prevents a Z from being done is if there is an unfinished transaction left on the till, if you turn back to R and press cash and see if the drawer opens.
If not try logging on as each of your staff member in turn and pressing cash on each, one of them should fire the drawer to complete the transactions and then you should be able to do your report.

Hi,

I have no cash transaction left in the till. So the sale is complete. It still will not let me "z" out. It makes a constant beep noise. Also, I dont have any staff members logging on in the till. We all use the same staff log in. There are no errors on the screen either. Just a constant beep. Now, I can't even do any refunds, voids, or transaction void on the till. The buttons are not functioning. Is there a way to reset the till without me losing all my PLU? or is there a way to clear out the sales for the day each day at the end of the night so I can start from fresh in the morning? Please advice me on what to do.

the hero is right theres an unfinished transaction somewhere.
do you have a table open?
just because there is a zero value, does not mean that the sale is complete.
for instance, if you have rung in an item, then voided the item, the value of the sale is zero
but until you hit the cash button, the sale has not been finalised
