Ok, I'm having a day here and need some help

Particularly I'm looking for specific information on the following:

Removing / De-assigning specific keys on the keyboard (department or item programmed keys)
Can the till unit take barcodes with pricing built in and register it appropriately? If so what code type works with this?
Can't for the life of me figure out how to remove or reassign a tax to a department?

This is for a project we are working on and we'll be trying out PC Utility shortly to see what more we can do with this.

Also have another question in regards to "bundle deals" but I'll get to that one later.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

this starts off at plu 1 which is usually the bottom left button..

or if you want to add barcodes.. type in barcode label and press enter.. allocate price press cash to save.

tax is in pgm 2 , settings , tax (16 i think)
set tax rate.. then go back to above instructions for adding plu's and on relevant plu press page down intil you get to tax options set it to yes on tax 1 2 3 or 4.


theres is no auto multibuy option on these tills.

up811 next model up has the built in feature

Ok, Ill be trying those this AM.

Now, our tills have a bunch of preassigned buttons. What is the process of removing those as operational keys? For instance, we have a bread button, and yet do not sell bread.

if you follow the above instructions to the section of plu/ean simply press the bread button at that stage and change the text and price.. simples !!
