Newbie question on x/z totals

Hi i have just aquired a sharp xea213 till, it is used for a public house. the till is used over 2 shifts. i need to know how to take a sales report at 5pm and another to cover the next shift with just the second shifts total on the printout and then print the full days total. can you advise me how to do this please? !what

You will need to do a Z1 report after each shift and then a Z2 report at the end of the day.

Z1 mode press decimal point then TL/NS. Same for Z2 in X2/Z2 position

Yes it does. Not pressing the decimal point will give you an X read.
