Hey was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have recently been given a Uniwell TX-870 to use in my pub but the catch is that at some point someone has reset the system back to factory default and it does not allow me to 'z' the till as when i turn the key to z and put my clerk id in it just comes up with all the features in SP where if i turn it to x i can press report functions a do a x.

I have checked the security level for all clerks and the only one with the level required to x,z is me.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to get it to allow me to perform a Z

I have managed to get into SP by using the Engineer code is there a part of the SF that i can adjust to get it to allow me to use report functions when i turn the key to 'Z'?

hi,
sounds like someone has locked down the system so front staff cant fiddle with it.
we do the same with our dx915's. the data is usually pulled back to the back office, staff at the terminal being blocked from doing any reports.
sound like you will have to work through the system flags to turn back on functionality.
having the engineers code is you first step, next is patience.

Is there a printer attached to the ECR?
If not - you won't be able to do any Z reports (The machine can't be cleared by viewing Z Reports - you can only view X reports on screen)

SP 181 and 182 are security reports and programming.

Check SP 123 Clerks, find out what security level your clerk code is linked to. If it is 0 replace it with anything from 1 -8.

Goto SP181 or SP182, you will get a big list of reports/programming. Line down to the report you wish to take and press enter. Make sure your security level from the clerks has a YES next to it by putting the curser on the line and pressing enter.

The main reports taken are 01(Full Cash Report), 06(Hourly Report) and 41(Products).

You can then sign on to the till in Z1p and take reports.
