I have been using PLM2000 regularly, and it has been working fine. I did a ram test and a it erased everything, but i have a profile saved in PLM so i didnt worry.

Now everytime i try to send data to the till it just says time out error.

the only thing i seem to be able to do is

SP 9906 X 6 . and that loads up Preset #6.

Is there another code i am missing to talk to the ECR with the PC?

It could be the Baud rate on the till not matching your baud rate in PLM. Firstly I would recommend setting your baud rate to 38400 bps in the network settings tab of PLM. Then set the baud rate to 38400 on the till. This is done as follows;

Turn the MA key to SP
type the following sequence
100 - X2 - 66 - (DECIMAL) - 01000000 - X2 - (CLEAR)

Then do an Inital Reset on the Till.

You should now be able to program your till from PLM.
