This is the first time I have ever had to program a cash register before; my husband and I have just opened up a small jewelry store and we would like to be able to just enter in the price of each item manually, without making PLUs or departments or whatever. We are in a flea market and we do a lot of bartering so prices are rarely set in stone. Is there any way of doing this? I have gone over the manual many times and maybe I'm missing it because I don't understand the jargon. I almost wish we had gotten a smaller, less complicated register, but it was a good deal and we don't have money for a new or different one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These tills have 24 department buttons on the layout, these can be programmed with a name and price if needed. If not simply enter the price (no decimal point) e.g £1 is 100 not 1.00 ...... and then press any department button (if no:1) then itll say dept 1 and price on screen..

or as i said these can have names programmed to them...
