Pocket touch

Postby carstev on Wed May 10, 2017 8:43 pm

Can someone point me in the right direction. I'm looking to trial pocket touch in my restaurant. I have downloaded the demo and need to connect to my till to see if it is going to work for me.

Pointers as it us requesting passwords etc.

Regards

Steve

Are you the guy in Tenerife? There's a company there called Ofimart, the Guys name is Martin. I'm sure he will be able to help you.

The password for the handheld to talk to the till is the one you set under System Settings.

Or do you mean the password to get into config? If so then it's the normal four digit password that TouchPoint also uses.

You can connect it as much as you like :p (soz Simon)
But you will need a licenced device if you want to try it fully as the demo sells everything at £1. so it won't be much of a trial, as the word demo suggests.
Speak to Martin, he might lend you one if you're lucky, or will be able to advise you on the route to go down.
Some things are only available from dealers, licencing is one of them. :)
