How do i turn off the electronic journal function on my sharp XE A203

do you mean to printer to be a receipt printer and not a journal??
or just so it doesnt store the journal??

At the moment the printer does not print any text at all until we action the X and Z functions. We want to able to print every item as soon as it is rung up ??

if you want to give receipts then you cant use it as a journal turn key to opxz mode and press your receipt button to turn it on

or try this

turn key to pgm
for receipt printer
#/TM/ST - 6 X 11000111 #/TM/ST - TL/NS

for journal printer
#/TM/ST - 6 X 01000111 #/TM/ST - TL/NS
