ok just to confuse matters I now need to change my discount button back from discount on total sale to discount on individual items. I have looked in the manual but it seems like a foreign language I am guessing that the code 030020 needs changing but I dont know what to - any ideas?????

if your old code was 030020 as a discount on sale, your new code is 010020

Now another question to ask. One of my tills now only works if you enter the amount tendered and this is causing funny errors on my daily Z1 reports. At the bottom of my reports I now get cash in drawer, cash dec, cash over / short then cheque in d, cheque dec and cheque over / short and now I also get chg1 in d, chg1 dec, chg1 over / short. I have worked out that this final bit is the amount of change given during the day but I dont understand why its suddenly appearing. I would help if we could stop having to use the amount tendered every time but I dont know how to stop it.

I'm away from the office this week but from memory, try turning the key to program, enter 70 into sub total followed by 0 into the cash key then hit the cash key again to finish.

[im sure that compulsory tender will have no bearing on cash in drawer figure but.......
