Hi

I am trying to pre-programme 2 discount buttons (for the total sale not individual items) on my tills, one for 10% and one for 20%. I have noticed that the 10% one is already on the % button on my till however I am struggling to programme another button. I am trying to use the Price Level 1 button underneath the % botton but every time I try and programme it the till beeps and me and says sequence error. I have been doing the following:
turn key to P
Enter 70 then sub total
then 030020 and the price level 1 button
then the till beeps and I get sequence error.

Can anyone help me please

You need to put the %2 button on the keyboard. Unfortunately you need a service key to be able to do that! However you can make your own key out of one of the other keys you have by just filing a bit off. You can get an image by googling 'Sharp MA key'.

If you get a service key, I can talk you through setting everything up.

as an engineer of 30 years standing, i fail to see how a picture of a sharp service key can in any way inluence the cutting of a samsung c key. !what

the code is correct in your post but it has to go into the % key [either 1 or 2]

liz, all you have to do is turn the c key in the lock, one past pgm [its not marked but it is the service position]
enter 70 into sub total and 65 into an unused button - preferablly to the lower left of the keyboard to keep it near %1 - press cash to finish. turn to pgm - enter 70 into subtotal again. put your code into the newly created %2 button press cash - job done.
