I have Sharp ER-A420 Register and i'm having trouble setting up unit 2 price to 0.00, it works fine if I put any other price. I keep getting INH. UNIT PR Error. I can put price 0.00 for unit 1 but not unit 2. Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like you have the PLU type set to preset only. You need to set it to open instead of preset. It should be listed in the PLU programming section.

I would have thought it would act on both prices. Make sure you are using two price levels and not two separate PLUs on one button. Also make sure you use the price shift button the right way around in REG mode. If PRICE SHIFT, price, PLU doesn't work then try typing price, then PRICE SHIFT, then PLU button.

It works when I put a price in unit 2 but not when I enter 0.00, but it works when I enter 0.00 for unit 1 and any price for unit 2. PLU are the same.
