Hi, I'm trying, badly, to change one of our UX43's, thanks to this forum finding a lot of info, but can't find a few bits:

1. Change the date & Time
2. Remove all sales data
3. Remove all PLU data. That is, remove all the items previously programmed into the till.
4. Change the name on some of the depts allocated to keys.

Think that's it for now. Any help greatly appreciated.

Steve

Hi There,

Here are a few answers for you:

Changing the Time:
1. Turn the key to the X position
2. Press 2
3. Press . (Decimal Point)
4. Enter the Time in the following format (HHMMSS)
5. Press X2

Changing the Date:
1. Turn the key to the X position
2. Press 1
3. Press . (Decimal Point)
4. Enter the Date in the following format (YYYYMMDD)
5. Press X2

Sales Data - Unfortunately I cannot give the codes out for this, it is not permitted on the forum.

Clearing PLUs - I can give you the code to clear these but it is opening a can of worms and leaving you with a lot to do, you might be best just renaming all your current PLUs?

Chaning keyboard PLU descriptions:
1. Turn the key to the SP position
2. Key in 202
3. Press X2
4. Enter the PLU number of the product you want to change
5. Press the . (Decimal Point) key
6. Key in the new description for this PLU using the alphanumeric keypad
7. Press ENTER or CASH to accept
8. Press CL
9. Repeat steps 4 to 8 for any other description changes
10. Press CL twice to finish and exit programming

I hope this helps

by default, the Ux-43 [AND EVERY OTHER TILL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN 30 YEARS]
has 2 places of decimal - hence you don't need to use the decimal point for prices !Head

The only time the decimal point button is pressed is after entering the PLU number.

I think i know the problem i have somehow caught 101 instead of 202 and programmed plu's onto the decimal point button and the cash button. Can I get them back to normal or will it need to be done via a computer program.

Thanks
