 Post subject: Programming sam4s ser 7000

Can anyone help me with how to set up percentage discounts on my till, I have looked through the manual but nothing. Also with how to program any discount.

firstly you need to allocate the percent button to the layout.. ie %1 is key number 157 this is done in service mode. ("c key")
Smode keyboard key location
then in pgm goto function key programming.. press %1 button from layout and program that button..

on other samsung tills. discount buttons are usually used after pressing subtotal.. this wil deduct the precentage from the total value of sale rather than by each item...

My till doesn't have a 1% button, Isn't that the other model of my till, SER 7340 (or similar )

cgi is quite correct
your machine most certainly does have a %1 button
BUT YOU NEED TO PROGRAM IT ONTO THE KEYBOARD VIA "S" MODE FIRST

got it , thanks. been trying that out for months. the manuals are a bit confusing :D
