Can the QT-6600 be programmed without a PC?
Also, which CC processors are integrated into the 6600?
Thanks.

CV-33 is used to program the QT6600 model. It's the only way to go. Datacap unit attached to your QT for credit cards. You can go thru the Trisource Solutions Datacap usage program. I can help with this if you are in the states.

To expand slightly on Casiohelps comment, you can program without a pc, but it is regarded as being easier with cv33. Adding logos and floorplans you do need cv33. A lot of it depends on the setup (also note the casiohelp is probably running a different version of the qt6600 program, as the in the uk we get the pan-euro version - no idea what could be different between that and the states!)

In the uk, there are no credit card links to the 6600.

Ok, thanks.
I assume the QT-6600 can be updated via FTP. Looking at Uniwell, their software can do that and it is free.
The Uniwell AX3000 also looks good.

Thanks for all the information.
Also, can the QT-6600 control the Epson TM-U230 kitchen printer (ethernet or serial)?
The receipt printer will be the Casio UP-400.

More assuming going on here. He said "Thanks" instead of "Cheers" so I assumed he was from the states. So if you need a quote, PM me.

Anyway we use the Pan-Euro version here in the states as well. The CV Programs are designed in the UK and they are not altered too much for the US market, but some the IPL's are.

You are right, you do not need a CV program to program any Casio till.
