Hi All,

QT-6000 and similar, have a video surveillance output. It's probably just the usual scroll that is sent to the tower pole display via serial connection. But does anyone know of a good interface that is good, simple and cheap to interface with the DV recorder?

Cunningham. that looks like a plug for your shop - not very informative really. I'm not interested in a complete new system that you are advertising. Just a simple ECR to text overlay between my till and CCTV system.

I don't generally agree with most use of video, but it is good for when a manager needs to re-assure a paranoid/idle owner with an over active imagination that staff are trustworthy and all N/S, cancels, voids etc.. are legit.

Also for kitchen printer use, I would like to get a monitor that displays the character output. I may write something in basic or just view in terminal software but If there is something out there that is cheap and works well maybe someone has an idea.
